Why I Light This Lantern

🕯️ Welcome to The Ordinary Path

I won’t begin with a trumpet.
Just a lantern.
This space isn’t a platform.
It’s a trail.
Not paved with answers,
but worn by footsteps—mine, and perhaps yours.

I’ve walked fifty years with Christ.
Not always straight.
Not always strong.
But always forward. Never looking back.

This blog is not a call to arms.
It’s a whisper to fellow travelers: You’re not alone.

Here you’ll find musings, memories, and meditations.
Some shaped by scripture.
Some by scars.
All offered in the hope that they light your way,
not blind your eyes.

I won’t teach.
I won’t instruct.
But I will testify.
And if you choose to walk beside me,
I’ll keep the lantern lit.

Still walking.
Still watching.
Still discerning.

Just a lantern,
gently placed.
