Lantern Lit: A Call to Witness Mercy Uncategorized larrylambert2

The Chosen

Not everyone
will understand this post.
That’s how I know
I’m speaking to the right ones.
Social media has taught us
to confuse connection
with visibility.
To call someone
“friend”
while never speaking.
To scroll past
sacred things
with a flick of the thumb.
But The Ordinary Path
was never meant for the scroll.
It is a niche sanctuary—
quiet,
deliberate,
and unapologetically small.
It will not appeal
to the masses.
It was never meant to.
It was shaped for the few
who feel the ache
of silence,
the weight of memory,
the call to walk differently.
If you’ve ever felt
out of step with the noise…
If you’ve ever longed
for something slower,
deeper,
consecrated…
If you’ve ever wondered
whether your story
was meant
to be more than content—
Then perhaps
you are not just called.
Perhaps you are chosen.
The Ordinary Path
is not a brand.
It is a covenant.
Not a platform.
A pilgrimage.
Come.
Read.
Reflect.
Speak.
Yes,
many of the offerings
are mine.
But The Ordinary Path
is not mine alone.
It is a place
for other lantern bearers—
those who carry
quiet testimony,
who feel
the stirrings of covenant,
who long to speak
not for attention,
but for witness.
If you’ve ever felt
that your story
doesn’t belong
in the feed
but in a sacred space…
then perhaps
you are not just called.
Perhaps you are chosen.
The Ordinary Path
is not a brand.
It is a pilgrimage.
Not a platform.
A sanctuary.
Come.
Read.
Reflect.
Speak.
And if you carry a story—
bring it.
The lantern is lit.
Many are called,
but few are chosen.
Could it be
that you are
one of them?

If this offering stirred something in you—
a memory,
a question,
a flicker of light—
you are welcome to share
your reflection below.
No need for eloquence.
No need for certainty.
Just a lantern,
gently placed.
