The Ordinary Path Is Maturing
This blog began as a sanctuary
for my church’s spiritual needs.
A place to shape reflections,
consecrate routines,
and offer quiet testimony.
But the path widens.
I now discern a deeper need—
not only for my congregation,
but for my nation.
And for my country
as a world leader.
While some may protest
violently on the streets,
I protest peacefully on these pages.
I make my argument here;
Here I throw down my gauntlet
not with fists,
but with witness.
Not with rage,
but with resolve.
These offerings are not political.
They are spiritual.
They seek not to persuade,
but to preserve.
Not to conquer,
but to consecrate.
The Ordinary Path is maturing.
It now bears witness
to a broader covenant—
a republic
in need of mercy,
reflection,
and resolve.
Each post is a vessel.
Each word,
a quiet protest.
Each image,
a liturgy of remembrance.
The Ordinary Path
is lit
for those who seek mercy,
memory,
and meaning.
You may subscribe below
to receive new offerings.
Your presence is never demanded,
but always honored.
If this offering stirred something in you—
a memory,
a question,
a flicker of light—
you are welcome to share
your reflection below.
No need for eloquence.
No need for certainty.
Just a lantern,
gently placed.
